Driving and taking your exam in Zaandam
Zaandam holds its exams in the densely built Zaanstreek: narrow residential streets, plenty of parked cars, and bridges over the Zaan that can open for shipping. Traffic is channeled onto a limited number of through routes, which makes careful planning and anticipation more important than speed.
The A7 and A8 meet at the Zaandam interchange, and during rush hour traffic heading toward Amsterdam squeezes into the Coentunnel. Driving in traffic jams, merging, and short slip lanes are everyday exam material here. Industry also still lines the Zaan, and on some days you can simply smell the cocoa through the car window.
The Zaanse Schans gives the region a touristic side: tour buses, cyclists, and drivers searching for parking are part of the picture all year round. Toward Assendelft and Krommenie, old ribbon settlements alternate with new housing developments, each with its own pace and points of attention.
We book exams at the CBR location in Zaandam for instructors in the Zaanstreek and Waterland, from Zaandijk and Wormerveer to Purmerend and Oostzaan. You teach, we take care of the date and the contact with the CBR.
