Driving and taking your exam in Gouda
Gouda holds its exams right in the middle of the Groene Hart. The historic town centre, with its canals, narrow streets and bridges, calls for precision, especially on market days when visitors and cyclists fill the centre. One-way streets and tight corners mean learners really have to show their vehicle control here.
On the edge of town lies the Gouwe interchange, where the A12 and A20 meet. It’s one of the best-known congestion hotspots in the Randstad, and the motorway section of the exam accordingly takes place amid heavy rush-hour traffic, with weaving sections and short merging lanes.
Around this lies the peat meadow area: narrow polder roads on soft ground, with subsidence, passing places and plenty of recreational cyclists heading towards the Reeuwijkse Plassen. Roads along the water with no verge leave no room for carelessness, and that is exactly what makes this environment so instructive.
We book exams at the CBR location in Gouda for instructors across the Groene Hart, from Waddinxveen and Bodegraven to the Krimpenerwaard. One fixed price, fast and suitable dates, and rescheduling whenever needed.
