Driving and taking your exam in Emmen
Emmen is the largest exam town in southeast Drenthe. The routes combine spacious residential neighbourhoods and a series of roundabouts with through roads such as the N34 and the A37 towards Germany. Traffic is easy to read, but varied enough to test every learner on every part of the exam.
Typical of the region are the peat colony ribbon villages: kilometres-long straight villages such as Klazienaveen and Emmer-Compascuum, with houses, driveways and cyclists right along the through road. There, learners learn to anticipate traffic that can appear from any direction, even though the speed limit is simply fifty or sixty.
On busy days, Wildlands draws large numbers of visitors and day-trip traffic suddenly fills the approach roads. And anyone heading towards the German border notices the cross-border traffic on the A37. In the surrounding countryside, narrow roads, canals with bridges and agricultural traffic are all part of the regular picture.
We book exams at the CBR location in Emmen for instructors throughout the region, from Coevorden to Borger and the peat villages. No CBR registration of your own required, one transparent fixed price, and fast, suitable dates for your students.
