Driving and taking your exam in Gorinchem
Exam location Schelluinen serves the Gorinchem region, a busy logistics crossroads in South Holland. At the Gorinchem interchange, the A15 and A27 meet, and a constant stream of heavy goods traffic crosses the Merwedebrug. Merging between trucks and staying aware of their blind spots is part of every lesson here.
The contrast with the surrounding area is striking. The fortified town of Gorinchem has narrow historic streets within its ramparts, where turning and passing demand real precision. Beyond it lie dyke roads along the Linge and the Merwede: narrow, winding, with cyclists and oncoming traffic in spots where visibility is limited.
To the north lies the Alblasserwaard with its ribbon villages along the Giessen, where the road is sometimes barely wider than the car and passing places manage the traffic. Learning to drive here means learning to position, choose your speed and look ahead at a level that never comes naturally on wide roads.
We book, exchange and reschedule exams for instructors in the Gorinchem region, from Leerdam and Arkel to Hardinxveld-Giessendam and the Land van Altena. One fixed price per exam and a date that fits your lesson planning.
