Driving and taking your exam in Urmond
Urmond serves the Sittard-Geleen region in the Westelijke Mijnstreek. The A2 corridor is the common thread here: a busy through-route where traffic between Eindhoven and Maastricht converges, with heavy rush hours and plenty of freight traffic to and from local industry.
The Chemelot industrial complex leaves its own mark on traffic, with trucks and commuter traffic at set times of day. The bridges over the Julianakanaal also cross the area, and the Maas, forming the border with Belgium, lies just a stone’s throw away. German and Belgian license plates are part of the everyday picture.
The landscape here starts to gently roll: rural roads toward Beek and the villages on the slopes call for gear changes and careful throttle control, while the compact old village centers along the canal and the Maas have narrow streets and tight bends. This is how a learner gradually gets used to driving in Limburg.
We book exams at the CBR location in Urmond for instructors in the Westelijke Mijnstreek and the surrounding area, from Sittard and Geleen to Stein, Beek, and Born. Fixed price, suitable dates, short lines of communication.
