Driving and taking your exam in Utrecht
Utrecht sits at the heart of the Dutch road network, and learners feel it. The Oudenrijn, Lunetten, and Rijnsweerd interchanges surround the city and rank among the busiest in the country: merging, weaving sections, and lane choice under pressure are standard exam elements here, especially during a rush hour that runs long in this region.
The city center is the opposite extreme. Utrecht is a cycling city through and through, home to the world’s largest bicycle parking facility at Centraal Station, and the center is largely car-free. Bus lanes, cycle streets where cars are merely guests, and pedestrian zones call for patience and flawless observation.
In between lies a belt of very different surroundings: the light rail line toward Nieuwegein and IJsselstein with its own crossings, the growing neighborhoods on the west side, and the leafy avenues toward Zeist and De Bilt. Within a single exam, the scenery shifts from motorway interchange to shopping street.
For driving instructors in the Utrecht region, from Nieuwegein and Houten to Maarssen and Zeist, we book, exchange, and reschedule exams with the CBR. One fixed price per exam and dates that fit your lesson planning.
