Driving and taking your exam in Harderwijk
Harderwijk lies between the Veluwe and the lake district, and the exam routes reflect that. On one side, forest edges with crossing wildlife and narrow roads towards Ermelo and Nunspeet; on the other, open water and the N302, which runs via the aqueduct over the Veluwemeer to Flevoland.
The A28 alongside the town is busy, especially during rush hour towards Zwolle and Amersfoort, and the roundabouts around town test right of way and observation at pace. The renewed Waterfront has brought the town centre closer to the water, bringing parking and visitor traffic with it on fine days.
Tourism is a real traffic factor here: the Dolfinarium, the boulevard and the holiday parks on the Veluwe attract visitors throughout the season. In holiday periods, learners therefore encounter different traffic than on an ordinary weekday in November, and good training prepares them for both.
Instructors in the northwest Veluwe, from Ermelo and Putten to Nunspeet and Zeewolde, have their exams booked through us. We book in Harderwijk on a suitable date and arrange rescheduling whenever needed.
