Driving and taking your exam in Leiden
Leiden is a compact university city with narrow canals, extensive one-way traffic, and cyclists arriving from every direction at any moment of the day. The town center forgives little: narrow bridges, parked bikes spilling onto the roadway, and pedestrians crossing everywhere. Observation and composure make up half the exam here.
Outside the center, the pace picks up. The N206, A4 and A44 connect the region to The Hague and Amsterdam, and the RijnlandRoute and Corbulotunnel have added a modern link. Rush hour around the Bio Science Park and the train stations is heavy, with a great deal of commuter traffic from across the region.
The surrounding area gives the routes their character: the Bollenstreek toward Lisse and Noordwijk draws visitors from around the world to the blooming flower fields in spring, and on summer days beach traffic toward Katwijk and Noordwijk clogs the approach roads. Learners here develop planning skills and patience.
We book exams with the CBR in Leiden for instructors across the entire Leiden region and the Bollenstreek. A fixed price, suitable dates, and rebooking arranged whenever necessary.
