Driving and taking your exam in Barendrecht
Barendrecht lies on the busy southern edge of the Rotterdam region. Students here deal with heavy rush-hour traffic, industrial estates with plenty of truck traffic, and the connections to the A15 and A29 around the Vaanplein, one of the most heavily loaded interchanges in the region. Merging between trucks and positioning in good time are not an extra here, they’re the core of the exam.
At the same time, Barendrecht itself offers a good build-up: the spacious new-build district of Carnisselande, with roundabouts, cycle streets and the tram line, calls for close observation at lower speeds. The contrast between the quiet neighbourhood and the fast-moving A15 makes the routes genuinely instructive.
Towards the edges, the landscape turns more rural, with dike roads along the Oude Maas and greenhouse areas towards the Hoeksche Waard. Narrow profiles, oncoming traffic and slow-moving vehicles keep students sharp there too.
We book exams at the CBR location in Barendrecht for instructors from the south side of Rotterdam, Ridderkerk, Rhoon, Poortugaal and the Drechtsteden. No queues, no admin: you teach, we book.
