Driving and taking your exam in Vlissingen
Vlissingen holds its exams by the sea, and that’s not just a figure of speech: the boulevard runs directly along the Westerschelde, where the wind is almost always blowing. Handling crosswinds is a basic skill on Walcheren, whether on the dike roads or the open polder roads between the villages.
The A58 ends at the city and links Walcheren to the rest of Zeeland; together with the roads around Middelburg, that forms the faster part of the exam. In the city itself, the old streets around the harbor, traffic near the ferry to Breskens, and the industry of the Vlissingen-Oost port area all belong to the picture.
In season, everything revolves around the coast. The seaside resorts of Zoutelande, Westkapelle, and Domburg attract streams of tourists, and the narrow roads leading there fill up with cars, cyclists, and campers. A learner taking lessons here in summer picks up patience and anticipation as a matter of course.
Instructors on Walcheren, from Middelburg to Koudekerke and Oost-Souburg, route their CBR bookings through us. We book the exam in Vlissingen on a date that matches your student’s level.
