Driving and taking your exam in Tiel
Tiel holds its exams in the middle of the Betuwe, between the Waal and the Linge. Narrow dike roads with bends and oncoming traffic are the classic feature here: positioning, choosing the right speed, and pulling into a passing place in time are skills a learner masters nowhere better than on a Betuwe dike.
Fruit growing gives the region its own traffic calendar. During blossom season, visitors stream through the orchards, and at harvest time tractors haul full crates between the fields and the auction houses. Every September the Fruitcorso adds to this, when the town spends a weekend celebrating its flower floats.
The fast-paced driving happens on the A15, one of the country’s main freight corridors toward the port of Rotterdam. Merging between trucks and keeping a safe following distance are standard exam material there, alongside the roundabouts and approach roads of Tiel itself.
For instructors in Rivierenland, from Geldermalsen and Buren to Maurik and Culemborg, we book exams with the CBR in Tiel. You decide the timing, we take care of the booking and the contact with the CBR.
