Driving and taking your exam in Spijkenisse
Spijkenisse serves Voorne-Putten and the southwestern edge of Rotterdam. Major water crossings shape the exam: the Spijkenisserbrug and the Hartelbrug connect the island to the port area, and a bridge that’s open here means waiting, planning, and sometimes taking a detour. Rush hour traffic to and from the Botlek and Europoort is heavy, with plenty of freight traffic on the A15.
The town itself is spaciously laid out, with roundabouts, wide neighborhood access roads, and the metro’s terminus. Cycle crossings near schools and shopping centers demand sharp observation, while the industrial areas to the north test how well a learner handles trucks and their blind spots.
Voorne-Putten also has a rural and touristic side: dike roads and polders toward Brielle and Hellevoetsluis, and on summer days, beach traffic toward Rockanje and Oostvoorne. The historic fortified towns have narrow streets where precision counts.
Instructors on Voorne-Putten and in Hoogvliet leave their exam bookings to us. We book with the CBR in Spijkenisse on a date that suits your student.
