Driving and taking your exam in Hoorn
Hoorn is the exam city of West Friesland. The historic town center on the Markermeer has narrow streets, one-way traffic, and in summer plenty of tourists around the harbor. Around it lie busy roundabouts and approach roads connecting the growing town to the A7, where rush-hour traffic toward Amsterdam can be heavy.
The West Frisian countryside has its own character: dike roads along the centuries-old Westfriese Omringdijk, with crosswinds and beautiful but distracting views, and ribbon villages with stolp farmhouses where driveways and cyclists demand attention. The Westfrisiaweg links the region from west to east and adds pace to the routes.
Toward Enkhuizen and Medemblik, things get quieter, with village centers and open polder. It is precisely this mix of historic town, busy arterial roads and rural surroundings that prepares a learner in Hoorn for every part of the exam.
Instructors across West Friesland, from Enkhuizen and Medemblik to Obdam and Wognum, leave their CBR bookings to us. We book the exam in Hoorn on a date that suits, and reschedule it whenever circumstances require.
