Driving and taking your exam in Hoogeveen
Hoogeveen offers a clear-cut exam with a serious motorway component: the A28 and A37 intersect here, so merging and exiting at speed is a standard part of the exam. Traffic between Zwolle, Assen and Emmen converges at Hoogeveen, and during rush hour that is clearly noticeable.
Within the built-up area, roundabouts, the shopping district around the Hoofdstraat, and 30 km/h zones test low-speed control. The neighborhoods are spaciously laid out, but school zones and cycle crossings demand sharp observation.
The surrounding countryside is typically South Drenthe: long ribbon villages such as Hollandscheveld and Elim, where homes and driveways sit directly on the through road, and narrow roads across the peatland toward Zuidwolde and the Dwingelderveld. Farm traffic and schoolchildren on bikes are part of the daily scene there.
We book exams at the CBR location in Hoogeveen for instructors in South Drenthe. A fixed price per exam, fast dates, and a single point of contact for all the arrangements.
