Driving and taking your exam in Bergen op Zoom
Bergen op Zoom lies at the transition from the Brabantse Wal to the Zeeland polders, which makes for varied exam routes. The compact city centre has one-way streets, narrow lanes and shoppers about, while the through-roads towards the A4 and A58 call for pace and good lane choice.
Its location near the border is noticeable: the A4 towards Antwerp brings a lot of Belgian and truck traffic through the region. Towards Tholen and the Zeeland side lie open polder roads and dikes where the wind has free rein and crosswind becomes a real factor in steering.
The countryside on the Brabantse Wal itself is wooded and gently rolling, with narrow roads towards Hoogerheide and Woensdrecht. Within a single exam, the scenery shifts from city centre to motorway to open polder, and that variety is exactly what makes Bergen op Zoom a good test of the full repertoire.
Instructors in West Brabant and on the border with Zeeland, from Steenbergen and Halsteren to Tholen and Woensdrecht, leave their CBR bookings to us. We book the exam in Bergen op Zoom on a date that suits your student.
