Driving and taking your exam in Almelo
Almelo is a clear, easy-to-read exam city at the heart of Twente. Traffic is calmer than in the Randstad, but the exam routes still demand sharpness: home zones and 30 km/h areas, level crossings at several points in the city, and through-roads where the pace suddenly has to pick up.
The faster component comes from the N36 and the connection to the A35 towards Wierden and Enschede. Around the industrial estates on the south side, including the large XL Businesspark by the Twentekanaal, a lot of truck traffic passes through. Students learn to account for long braking distances and trucks’ blind spots there.
The surrounding countryside is typically Twente: narrow roads between tree lines and old farmland ridges, seasonal agricultural traffic, and ribbon villages towards Vriezenveen and Tubbergen where oncoming vehicles pass each other on tight road profiles. Schoolchildren cycling in groups towards the city in the morning are also part of the regular picture.
We book exams with the CBR in Almelo for instructors from across Twente, from Wierden and Borne to Tubbergen and Rijssen. One fixed price, fast dates, and a short line if something needs to be rescheduled.
